Good Samaritan Clinic began its ministry in the summer of 1995. It is open on Tuesday and Thursday nights to serve the medically indigent people of Morganton. An average night will include seeing 25 - 30 patients many of whom are Hispanic. Volunteers serve in many capacities in the clinic ministry. Translators are especially important!

The Good Shepherd's Clinic is open at First Baptist Church each Thursday night. Adults and children are seen for ongoing medical care by the volunteer staff. Dental care is provided by periodic visits of the North Carolina Mobile Dental Clinic. This is an ecumenical Christian ministry with volunteer staff from a variety of churches.

The North Carolina mobile medical/dental clinic is available to local associations for ministry wherever people are ill. It enables Southern Baptists (especially the state chapters of Baptist Medical Dental Fellowship and Baptist Nursing Fellowship) to do medical/dental missions projects in migrant camps, fairs, schools, and any other location you might imagine!
