What began as a group of physicians and dentists getting together to discuss their experiences in doing short-term healthcare mission projects and long-term careers in service to Christ, resulted in BMDF – an organization of physicians and dentists with the initial mission statement, “Responding to God’s call through healthcare.”
BMDF has continued to evolve, and now welcomes all categories of licensed healthcare professionals, as well as any who share an interest in our values and objectives.

A word from the President of BMDF
BMDF is more than a fellowship of Christian healthcare professionals.
We serve as a catalyst to organize, inspire, and equip mission-minded healers for service to Christ. Peter and the twelve were the first followers of Christ called specifically to preach and to heal (Matthew 10). Following Peter’s lead, we are calling on today’s healthcare professionals to steward their own gifts and talents for God’s glory (1 Peter 4:10-11).
